The iPhone 4 features iBooks for book reading on your mobile wherever you go
The iPhone 4 offers iBooks for book reading on your mobile wherever you go, and allowing you to download more whenever you want. The handset also offers a 5 megapixel camera and impressive Retina display for amazing resolution and onscreen clarity.
The handset offers multitasking with the latest iOS 4 operating system which enables you to run multiple apps at once, and switch between them leaving one and returning to it in the same place as it was. The A4 processor chip allows it to seamlessly switch and multitasking has little effect on the battery power. The handset also has an impressive Retina display featuring a staggering 960 by 640 pixel resolution at 326 pixel per inch depth, offering a perfectly clear and vivid display, with pixels that are invincible to the naked eye. The 3.5 inch multi-touch screen also provides onscreen keyboards which adapt to the relevant information that you want to type, for example when entering an email address, the email keyboard will be displayed for you.
The iPhone has a 5 megapixel camera on board which is capable of image capture and High Definition video recording, which the HTC Desire Z also features, along with both phones also featuring an LED flash allowing clearer images to be taken in poor light conditions. Videos and photos on the iPhone meanwhile can be instantly shared via the fully integrated and dedicated apps for social networking, including Facebook while the Desire Z and other phones form HTC also allow you to do this via the Friend Stream user interface. The iPhone also offers a front facing VGA camera offering easy self portrait shots as well as video calling through the FaceTime app, which allows you to simply tap its icon next to a contact to start a video call.
The handset provides many apps through the App Store which is also iTunes based, and both iTunes and your entire iPod are provided on the iPhone allowing you to enjoy all of your music, television episodes and more on the handset. Meanwhile HTC phones, such as the Desire Z provide multimedia playback and a music library and player also, as well as the Android Market offering a place to download more apps too.
The iPhone 4 is a powerful and well-designed device offering some of the best-known smartphone features on the market, and now including a better camera with flash and including a front facing camera for video calls. Other handsets including the HTC Desire Z meanwhile, also offer many of the same capabilities through the Android operating system, and include some hardware differences such as larger displays which may appeal to some users more.
