Is it legal to have a multi level referral program?
I have a business selling things online. I want to pay customers for referring people to the website. To encourage them to refer people, I want to tier the referrals so people will get paid for you they told to come, and for who those people told to come, and so on, 3 levels deep. Is this a legal practice?
I don’t know the answer to your question, but it does sound kind of like a pyramid scheme to me. I would do some internet research on pyramid schemes (maybe check wikipedia to start) and make sure you aren’t following their business models.
